Welcome to Luxe Lowcountry Travel
What is the Lowcountry ?
When I was a child growing up in the city of Atlanta, we would take car trips to visit my grandparents in coastal South Carolina, known as the Lowcountry. Oh how I loved those days! Life moved at a slower pace in the Lowcountry. We had time to be together as a family and to enjoy all the natural beauty of this mystical place. I was free to wander and wonder at all the sights, smells and sound of the coast. It seemed a world away from the hustle and bustle of the metro area. A place where sunny days filled with freedom and adventure gave way to lazy evenings filled with plenty of food and fun. By bedtime I was exhausted from the joy of it all and slept soundly with the knowledge that I could do it all again the next day.
Those memories are carved into my soul and call out to me still. Memories of majestic, Spanish moss covered oaks, powder beaches for miles, rolling dunes, sandpipers frolicking on the beach, dolphins playing in the surf, searching for shells, pelicans dive bombing the ocean for fish, wild marshes, alligators, boogie boarding and body surfing in the waves, shrimp boils and popsicles. Sand, surf and sunshine. Medicine for the soul.
Through my life I’ve returned again and again to relish in the natural beauty of the Lowcountry. I still enjoy all the things I did as a child, the wonder of it all has not escaped me. I feel free here. Completely relaxed. It is still as captivating now as it was then.
The Lowcountry is loaded with history and charm, from Savannah, Georgia to Charleston, South Carolina and every where along the way: Pawleys Island, Isle of Palms, Edisto Island, Tybee Island, Fripp Island, Pritchard Island, Hilton Head Island, and Beaufort. Each of these areas is rich in stories and has a secrets to tell.
Through the years I’ve ventured out to learn even more about this area of the country that I love so much. While I still love a lazy beach day, the options for activity abound! Biking, golf, tennis, boating, fishing, beach yoga, shopping, adventure cruises, museums, tours and some amazing seafood! And for the naturalist, during sea turtle season you may even see nests and tracks of these ancient creatures. There is literally something for everyone here in the Lowcountry.
As much as there is to do here, some of my favorite moments are the most quiet, sunrise and sunset. I love to take my coffee cup to go and walk down to the beach for the astonishing sunrise view. It’s truly awe inspiring and kicks off my day with super charged positivity. And in the evening, I can exhale and kick back with a glass of wine overlooking the stunning sunsets over the marshes ending my day full of gratitude for the natural wonder of the Lowcountry. And then I sleep, joyfully, knowing I get to do it all again the next day.
If you want to fill up your soul with the loveliness of the Lowcountry, I’d love to help plan your dream visit.

Good day! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog. Is it hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about setting up my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any points or suggestions? Cheers

I would recommend finding a word press webmaster.
